If you could i'm sure we would reach the first 100 bitcoins(~2000$) within days, But i don't think those computers are powerful as the computers you have. Thus you'd need to connect them to your bitcoin.cz account. Also you'd need to come up with something to hide the RPC Miner process. But yes of course.

Technically it would be more legal, its an old botnet of mine I made back in 7th grade, never has been eliminated, and it continues to fluctuate every few months, but I don't believe we have a combined total of 16,000 computers, I've got 3 decently powerful machines. A laptop that has an i7 and a geforce 310. And several other computers that belong to friends that are equally powerfully, legally I can realistically have 20 high powered machines running. As for my botnet, configuring each one individually would take ages, and writing a script that would pipe over a preconfigured version of the miner would take awhile as well.

What settings? If you want to change the settings of the account, you need to login at the www.bitcoin.cz.

If you wish to change the settings of the miner program(the client) you need to edit the shortcut for it, as the shortcut sets the arguments which the program works with. To create a shortcut right click on the program and choose "Create a shortcut"

Well, Yeah but i'm going to be honest i have no idea how to do that. We would probably need a server for that, And i don't think it should be some random hacked server since the account related details would need to be stored on it. And on the other hand the server cant be hosted from anyones home since we're talking about a botnet.

yeah but you can still connect them up to the bitcoin.cz, And since they'll be connected as workers it shouldn't be a problem since workers are connected with their own passwords. Sure we'll lose some profits here but it's still going to make some bitcoins for us. Even 100 workers would make atleast 0.1 bitcoins a day which is quite a lot considering its free magic money.

For the installing, I don't know. Maybe we can come up with somekind of script, Shouldn't be hard if we pick certain computers which won't cause any trouble with firewalls and such. It won't be a big deal to use worker names such as worker1, worker2 and so on and same for the passwords. If the users figure it out then they do, But it still shouldn't cause any trouble since they can't access the main account.

I will be able to raise $2000 for the cause, if not more, within the next few months. Willing to live with a room mate and pay extra money where it is needed. Only thing is that, I'm not going to just give over the money until I'm 100% sure that it's going to this cause. So I propose we do more research on the land around it, soil conditions(Can you even grow crops?), natural disasters, etc.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Can we look into maybe finding another dying town? Maybe one in California or Oregon? They have the most amazing growing seasons and availability.

We need to look realisitcally into winter housing for a lot of people. It's going to get fucking cold, people that aren't familiar with the climate might be be taken by surprise.

South Dakota isn't especially known for the things it can produce ... the Lakota especially had the hardest time trying to grow food on the shittiest land.
