But for realz guise, 36 acres outside of town doesn't leave us with much options for growing crops or raising cattle, I could feasibly raise 6 momma cows, artificially inseminate them, raise the calves to a year, sell them on the veal market, start to make a profit that could go towards getting more land to get more cows so we can eat more steak!

I think $80 is a good minimum. It's 1/10,000 of the total price and in the price range of our demographic. Hell, I would hand over $80 right now if I knew it was secure and met the criteria above. I wouldn't even care that much about living in the town, it would be nice to just be party of history.

$1,500 would be a better amount as a minimum for sure residents. But any donations would be accepted. After town is bought, anyone can come, as long as he/she can pay for his daily life temporarily -> living in a tent for example. We can't all get fit in the bar. Or hell, we may not be that many, but at least $1,000 per each new resident that wants a house, implying space is available, should be okay

That brings up another point, When this land is purchased, who will have their name on the title? We will need the services of a lawyer to divy up each plot of land to anons, or we are going to end up with a dictator owning all our land who can do whatever the fuck he wants to us.
