The easiest thing I can think of would be to just get the word out. Tell people and let it be known, get the media in on this.

Keys:
It needs to look REALLY legit. Ideas all laid out... etc
It needs to look like an experiment, we want to see if we can take over this land, if it all hits the fan, we sell land and get our money back.
Like you say, get the word out and maybe we have a big investor do it for the lulz and the tax break

I think daily mail topic is enough for now. We do not want competition, do we? But AFTER buying the town it would awesome to tell the world about it, so poorfags can help. But, for now, it's to soon to think about media.
