2. Options for future expansion
3. Freshwater more easily obtainable
4. Internet may be more possible
5. Less risk of ocean related disasters.

I totally agree. I only made this topic because of a few comments on /b/ and the chat.

Island is less ideal because (like other poster said) No electricity, running water... etc..

While we would be able to run drugs and do whatever the fuck we wanted (hopefully). We would also be without Police/laws to stop someone from coming in and fucking us over completely.


If we had a LOT more money available, we would hit island. Town is more ideal.

Town is already setup with a few buildings and a post office. Being on an island means we would have to start everything from scratch.

Plus, we have not one, but TWO jails ready to throw all the rapists and pedophiles in.

Town is prepared for expansion, whereas an island can only get so big, and the Island would make getting food/etc a much more difficult task.

Plus, i don't want it evolving into Lord of the Flies.

We have absolutely no idea how much it would cost to setup water/electricity and getting to and from this island. At least with the town we know the cost outright. Not going to find out we just bought an island and its going to cost 5m to actually live there

buy mainland first, if project goes epic win, buy in Portugal(or some place similar, not a 3rd world country, but not a big kid yet either) and have a spa resort, my friend just got a 32 acre villa for $8,000, wish we had those prices!
